This custom designed fireplace surround was created incorporating the client's ideas for her beautiful room overlooking the water.  A school of fish in a circular direction, where the tails of the fish are shark's teeth, separated by seahorses individually facing a
north-south-east-west direction.

This is a custom application of the "Kissing Fish" (which can be found on the Gallery page) surrounded by field tiles.

The "Kissing Fish" is one of the most popular designs, made of green tusk shells from India and pearl eubonium shells from the Philippines.

This shower application was designed with the client's wishes in mind.  She wanted a light and airy feel to the bathroom, so I used white shells.  This piece is part of the "Wedding Series" which may also be found on the Gallery page.

"Your Name" Reef

This custom one of  a kind was given as a holiday gift and titled as "Eva's Reef".  An illusion of an underwater coral reef and sharks, where the shark's tails are actually fossilized shark's teeth.  Mac can design your personal reef, this one is Eva's.

"Victorian Flowerpot Series"

The stems in these beautifully designed flowerpots are real sponge coral, naturally dyed for effect with various shells such as troca and seahorse accents and horseshoe crab tails on the flowerpot.

"Feeding Time at Mac's Reef"
3' x 3 ' unframed

This unique, naturally colored work of shell art depicts a coral reef with individually hand cut large snail shells and real sponge coral to create a dimensional illusion where seahorses and clown fish can hide.  The interspersing schools of fish are feeding on bait fish accompanied by sharks, dolphins, loggerhead turtle and a large blue clam fish whose dorsal and pectoral fins are fossilized megalodon shark's teeth with his jaw being a real crab claw.

This striking masterpiece is made with pearlized nautilus, cut strawberry shells, green trocas, pearl eubonium, and white arks just to name a few.

"The Sea Wall" 
This custom piece of shell art is 45 sq.ft, 15' x 3', 3/4' thick and is steel reinforced.  This project took several months of research and development to achieve a final design, which resulted in using well over 1,000 shells and fossils.  It takes the beauty of the sea from past to present, through the Artist's imagination of species, symmetry, color and balance, to a multi-dimensional vision of the ocean floor.  This has become a truly spectacular work of art and can be seen at , Siebert Realty, Sandbridge, Virginia Beach, VA

These five 8" x 8" x 1/4" thick shell tiles depict a school of fish made with multi-color olive shells of various sizes.  The dorsal, pectoral and tail fins of the fish are fossilized shark's teeth.

"Five Compass"
Each Compass is a 6" x 6" x 1/4" thick wall tile. Various shells and fossils were used to make them uniquely different. 

These tiles can be taken out of the frame and used as a border effect interspersed with field tiles (no shells, just a sand effect)
