The Company

The idea of Sea Art Studio was established in 1994.  Starting out making murals using scallop shells, I expanded my art form into the making of custom tiles.  In the commercial market, I only saw tiles that were ceramic, hand-painted, fired or quarried.  I felt there was a market for an exceptionally different tile using natural materials.  Sea Art was an evolution over the years as my artistic style evolved.  I then developed the process to create Sea Tiles.

Sea Tiles are distinctive, functional works of art that will enhance the elements of interior design and beautify any home or business.  Used as a feature or a bordering effect in any room, most popular above fireplaces or as a focal point in a professional space, in addition to bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds or simply as a naturally, beautiful framed work of art.  These dimensional works can be custom designed for any decorative style.

Sea Art Studio clients have come to appreciate my eye for detail and the timeless beauty of the shells in the tiles they choose.  Currently there are more than 300 designs of Sea Tiles that can be adapted to any size tile. You are encouraged to take part in the design process where you can express your ideas and desires.  Please note that no two shells are exact, slight variations in size and color may occur.  Species, spacing, sizing and coloration are taken into consideration during this creation.
